Keep this simple. Don’t feel the pressure of 800 words here. Just let them know your office address if you do in-person therapy, your fee and any insurance you take (or that you don’t take insurance) and how to get in touch with you.
I recommend using a contact form. The contact form is appropriate for people who aren’t clients yet, not current clients, because of HIPAA. When they are your current clients, if you allow email correspondence, make sure they have your HIPAA-compliant email address. For in person therapists, a map is helpful on this page, not just for clients, but also for search engine optimization (SEO.)
Please review the example section blocks below (C1-C4) for some ideas about how your web-designer might use different page layouts, images, or graphic elements to break up the text and make it more cognitively digestible. Make note of any examples that you really like or really dislike and be prepared to share that information with your designer.
